Elizabethan houses, set in a 1000-acre deer park, is within walking distance and

Among the many 16th, 17th and 18th century buildings you’ll find a good choice
of pubs and restaurants, while for those who enjoy browsing in the area,
speciality shops offer a wonderful selection of antiques, books and paintings.
Many National Trust properties including Chartwell, Ightham Mote and Hever are
all close by and London is only 28 miles away, connected by mainline train
services.
Gatwick is the closest airport with Heathrow and Stansted and the Channel ports
an hour’s drive away.
Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury, Sissinghurst, Hastings, Brighton and Rye are all
easily accessible for day visits. And if shopping is your fancy, Bluewater,
Europe’s largest shopping mall is 25 minutes by car.
